Bunkspeed Introduces HyperMove'10

New Release of Animation Software Adds Animation Improvements, HyperShot Round-trip Integration, 64bit Support

Los Angeles, California, August 20, 2009 – Bunkspeed today announced the immediate availability of HyperMove’10, the highly anticipated follow-up release to the all new animation system for designers, photographers and marketers introduced earlier this year.

HyperMove represents the next generation animation systems combining the fastest, most sophisticated CGI technology with an ease of use that is unprecedented in the world of computer graphics. In a matter of minutes, users with little or no 3D experience can now create stunning animations of their designs.

HyperMove’10 brings significant improvements to the overall animation capabilities introduced at last year’s Siggraph. Users can now animate materials and lights as well as sequence multiple camera animations together into a single animation. The integrated physics engine has been completely revamped, and represents an object’s physical properties even more accurately.

HyperMove’10 offers the ultimate integration with HyperShot, Bunkspeed’s first digital camera for 3D data. Users can now import their HyperShot scenes and materials directly into HyperMove without the need to start over with the original data set. All materials applied to the design can be directly used as they are, or further refined for downstream use. All changes made to the scene can be transferred back to HyperShot.

The latest release of HyperMove is now also available as a 64bit version. Users can work with the largest production data sets directly from their CAD systems, without having to spend days to strip out unwanted details. This opens up endless possibilities for designers and marketers to show off design as well engineering detail in a single session.

“As a business owner, I am always on the lookout for ways to reach new customers and expand the scope of services that we can offer,” says Bryan Falk, Principal of Arizona IdeaWorks. “Adding HyperMove and HyperShot to our workflow was a gratifying investment, one that has paid for itself many times over from the first day we adapted it to our skill set”.

Bryan Falk started the firm in 2007 after spending almost a decade at various design firms. Arizona IdeaWorks offers a wide range of product design services including industrial design, product engineering, packaging design, and now also marketing-media creation.

Mr. Falk continues: “We’ve improved upon our current design and development services while simultaneously positioning ourselves as a viable player in the graphics-media and visualization market; our clients couldn't be happier.”

“More and more clients in product design, engineering and marketing are looking for animation of 3D data”, says Philip Lunn, CEO and Founder of Bunkspeed. “Whether it is simple camera animations, or complex multi-part animations with physics, HyperMove delivers the right toolset for any user of any skill level to create sophisticated, photographic animations of their designs in minutes.”

HyperMove’10 is available for immediate purchase. For more information visit www.bunkspeed.com/hypermove.

Bunkspeed HyperMove

HyperMove is here. After 3 years in development we are going live with HyperMove, an innovative new generation animation tool. Our goal with HyperMove is to make simple animation what it should be...simple. We've focused on the types of animations that our HyperShot customers want to do most. Opening and closing a telephone, computer for example, then draws, doors, wheels, gears. Part animation, camera animation, light animation. What we've found is with some creative energy, HyperMove can be used to make sophisticated animations quickly and easily. The animation on our homepage here was created in HyperMove. Iteration is fun and highly interactive with our innovative animation ribbon which lets you visually see in 3D exactly what the animation will do. We've integrated two types of rendering highly accurate cpu rendering (same render engine as HyperShot) and a faster but more featured gpu based renderer. What you choose will based on the task at hand. You can also quickly compose and animate a scene made up of all types of cad data.

HyperMove fills out our product line up. HyperShot for still images, HyperMove for animation, and HyperDrive for presenation, evaluation, and automated driving animation with full physics.

HyperMove has been launched with a complete line up of short tutorials so you can quickly get the most out of it. You can find the tutorials here.
